Free Wallace and Gromit Episode!
November 4, 2009 | Geoff Gibson
It’s always hard to decided if we should write about TellTale Games, or not. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love TellTale Games and I love that they are re-energizing the adventure market, but they are still kind of bordering the line between indie and not-indie — even by our own definition. So many times we may not comment on certain news out of them…
However, today is a little different. I figure we can push passed our conflicting ideologies about what is and isn’t an indie game in order to bring you a great deal. For this week, and this week only, TellTale Games is giving away a free episode of their adventure series based on Wallace and Gromit. This is in celebration of the series’ 20th anniversary.
The only negative I can see is that this episode is actually number 3, which seems odd. I mean, if you are attempting to draw people into a series why would you start half way through? I haven’t played them personally so maybe there is no over-arching storyline, but it still seems like an odd design decision.
Oh and for those looking to actually buy the entire season; you can get all four episodes for the discounted price of $20 (usually $35). Enjoy!
