• Out of the Frying Pan… Radiangames Inferno [Review]

Radiangames continues its beautiful shooter series on Xbox Live Indie Games with the third release in the series, Inferno. We loved the first release JoyJoy, but weren’t too keen on the follow-up Crossfire… so the great news is that Inferno is pretty much a maze-orientated version of JoyJoy.
With some great level design, gorgeous visuals and [...]

  • Cause We Got a Great Big Convoy… Reckless Squad [Preview]

Well, mark this down as one of the fastest introductory articles to preview turn arounds ever in DIYgamer.com history. Despite only officially announcing the game’s existence yesterday, I’ve already played a good deal of the press version and now have a gooey, creamy preview waiting for you to gobble it all up. Impressive huh?

We knew already that Microsoft has a timed exclusivity deal with the game, which will be short I’ve been assured by the developer. The game should see release on WiiWare as well as PC [...]

  • A Great Day for Science! Ray Ardent: Science Ninja [Preview]

  • So We’ve Got This Thing Called a Forum…

So get this, true story, there are these things all around the world wide web (the internets!) that are called forums. They’re termed after the ancient Roman political conferences where all the senators would gather in a “forum” to discuss issues regarding their society and laws. As it turns out, the internet has taken this [...]

  • treasure chest_Here at DIYgamer.com we like to play indie games. I mean, come on, that’s what our entire world is about. Well, the site’s world anyways. Bottom line, we like to play as well as write about indie games and I’m guessing you also like to play indie games as well. After all, why else would you be reading this right now?

Anyways, I’ll get to the point. In order to celebrate the launching of our Twitter, FaceBook fanpage, and FaceBook community (an in-site community run by FaceBook) we’ve teamed up with Amanita Design, Runic Games, and Frozenbyte to offer their games in a contest spectacular! Here are the prizes:

    • Two (2) copies of Amanita’s brilliantly designed Machinarium adventure puzzle game for PC.
    • Two (2) copies of Runic Games’ bad ass action RPG Torchlight for PC.
    • Two (2) copies of Frozenbyte’s beautiful platformer Trine for PC or PSN (winner’s choice!).

That’s six games total! … But really your only allowed to win one. Sorry.

Anyways entering into the contest is really easy and takes virtually no effort on your part. All you need to do is join either our FaceBook fanpage, FaceBook community, or follow us on Twitter. If you join all three you’ll have three chances to win. It’s as simple as that.

All three of these can be accessed by our toolbar at the bottom, just click the appropriate links. Likewise, here are some links to help you get their directly:

    FaceBook fanpage

    Twitter

The community can only be accessed via our toolbar sine it’s an in-site thing. Facebook just supplies that backend utility and doesn’t actually host it.

    Rules:

    • Only one account entry per person per site. You may have two FaceBook’s but we don’t want em both in our fanpage! Oh and we’ll be checking…
    • U.S. residents only! I do apologize for those living outside the U.S. but rules and regulations get sticky when offering a global contest and we’re still just a small site.
    • Real Facebook’s and Twitters only please.
    • You can only win once.

But wait there’s more! If we hit 1000 fans, followers and community members we’ll give away an extra of each game. That’s three extra copies! If we hit 2000 people we’ll give away another extra! That’s 2 extra copies of each game or an extra 6 games total. So tell your friends!

Winners will be chosen randomly one week from today on November 9th!

    Good luck!
