• Out of the Frying Pan… Radiangames Inferno [Review]

Radiangames continues its beautiful shooter series on Xbox Live Indie Games with the third release in the series, Inferno. We loved the first release JoyJoy, but weren’t too keen on the follow-up Crossfire… so the great news is that Inferno is pretty much a maze-orientated version of JoyJoy.
With some great level design, gorgeous visuals and [...]

  • So We’ve Got This Thing Called a Forum…

So get this, true story, there are these things all around the world wide web (the internets!) that are called forums. • MinmeI’m sure most people who read our site consistently know who Chaim Gingold is by now. If you don’t all you need to know was he was the designer behind Spore’s famous creature creator. Since then, however, he’s also become an established indie developer creating iPhone titles like Earth Dragon (review) and, now, MinMe.

Now keep in mind, for those of you who really enjoyed Earth Dragon, MinMe is not like Earth Dragon. It is, instead, a very simple game that was developed in 1.5 days as part of a challenge.

MinMe is a simple yet surprisingly appealing puzzle game. Unfortunately, it’s really hard to explain just what it is as well, but I’ll do my best! Basically, each level is a grid full of colored blocks (see picture). In order to complete the level all the colored blocks must vanish. In order to complete this goal you have to drag the blocks on to the the correct numbers, but only if you pass over the correct amount of colored squares first. For example, if you have a numbered block that’s 5 you’ll have tpo move your colored square 5 times before landing on that number to make it disappear… get it? Me either…

You know what? The first 10 levels are actually free on the App store right now so it’d probably just be easier to let that explain it. Enjoy!
