Yeah, I've been talking with the developer today and apparently their entire goal, an an indie game studio, is to remake classic games like Toki and Joe and Mac. Pretty bad ass if you ask me.

After seeing the amazing work they've done on Toki, I'm genuinely excited for whatever they do in the future.

Wow, a remake of Toki out of nowhere, that's pretty cool. Who are these guys? They seem to have come out of nowhere and gotten a pretty good deal for their very first gig (Toki ain't exactly Pac-Man, but it's a semi-classic, at least). Wonder what they did to get Taito's attention?

Gee, I'm gonna check out these guys' website and see what they're about, hmm lemme click around their blog and HOLY S**T THEIR NEXT PROJECT IS A REMAKE OF JOE AND MAC?!?!?:

Holy cow, why is this not on every game news website as the biggest story of the year??? Seriously, that's some of the best news I've heard all year. Friggin AWESOME.
