Streum On Studio’s “E.Y.E” is Delayed

EYEAccording to the reasons cited on French developer Streum On Studio’s official website, the long-anticipated first person shooter/role playing game E.Y.E has been delayed to an unconfirmed date. While Streum On Studio hopes we will see the game’s release before the end of the year, it is still unclear exactly when that will be. The good news, however, is that the developer is hard at work on the Source engine based title to add 3 more story chapters, new enemies, new researches, and new secondary missions. As of now, the studio reports that there are “more than 50 technology researches, 26 artifacts to find and over 120 secondary quests.”

Admittedly, there are a number of reasons to be excited for this game. First, it is made with the Source engine and it looks fantastic! Second, the variety of gameplay modes (single player, co-op, and even multiplayer) add an extra layer to buttress the title’s already well-built foundation. Lastly, while the planned release is on PC, Streum On Studio seems to be intent on releasing the game for the 360 and PS3 consoles as well. More details on this as it develops, but for now you can check out the game’s official website for an awesome trailer!
