Unhappy news for fans of TaleWorlds’ medieval action RPG Mount and Blade as Paradox Interactive has confirmed that the upcoming ‘Warband’ expansion has been delayed from the end of this year to March of 2010.

“March 19 is the date we are aiming for,” Paradox executive vice president of publishing Susana Meza Graham told Shacknews. No explanation of the delay was provided.

Warband will bring new modes including team deathmatch and search & destroy for up to 64 players. Additionally, TaleWorlds is overhauling the graphics, adding a new faction, as well as improving morale, faction and diplomatic systems for the game.
