  • gdc_china_09Think Services Game Group has announced via press release that organizers have picked the winners of the inaugural Independent Games Festival China at GDC China 2009. The ceremony, presented by IGF China judge and Chinese game industry veteran Kevin Li and Game Developer Magazine and Gamasutra.com publisher Simon Carless, awarded the best independent game and student developers in the Asia-Pacific area.

    Australian creator Farbs took Best Game, and $2,900 to boot, for his unique 2D space adventure title Captain Forever. While submissions from China and Singapore dominated the rest of the awards.
