Charlie’s Games has announced via presser that its colorful shoot ‘em up sequel Bullet Candy Perfect has been released and is now available for purchase. The title described as a “sharp, super smooth [game with] 3D graphics and a cool techno soundtrack, [with a focus on] honing your skills to perfection as you attempt the perfect run.”
Even better, the decision on how much to pay is almost entirely on the buyer.
The game will sell at $1 with an option to donate extra, the dev only requests that you pay what you think is a “fair price.”
Woah, laying the guilt trip on pretty thick, wouldn’t you say?
Only kidding, I think it’s a fantastic way to go about promoting and selling your game, especially if you believe in it and Charlie clearly does, citing in the release one review’s description: “Twice the awesome of a retail title at 1/60th the price.”
On top of that, you get a copy for Windows, Mac and Linux when you buy the game, just the gift that keeps on giving.
